started the company
1932. The first product was a motorpump with a Chevrolet
engine and a newly designed pump. 1936
he developed the first PTO driven pump. All was made
from the town Kristianstad in south of Sweden. 1943 he
moved to the small village Immeln, close to the beautiful
lake Immeln. He continued to develop different type of
pumps for the Scandinavian market. During 1960's his
son Nils Ruberg took over the company. He continued to
develop more pumps, and the product range grew steadily.
He developed the new line of pumps with the flat curve
in the end of 1970's, and these type of pumps have got
many followers today. When Nils Ruberg where getting
close to retirement he sold the company 1993 to Technamm
SA, France, and Bert Karlsson, Sweden.
The
aim for the new owners was to make the company modern
in all respects, such as design in CAD, computerized
administration,
enlarge export sales and create a modern technology for
machining of parts. Another goal was to double the volume of
pumps within 10 years from the take over 1993. All these goals
where reached and fulfilled in the next eight years. |

After hard
work during many years, the company now had a position on the
export market and a well functioning organisation.
After these years, Technamm SA wanted to leave the company.
The largest customer to W. Ruberg AB, ,
bought
the shares owned by Technamm SA in March 2004. This means
that the new owners are with 85 % of the
shares, and Bert Karlsson with 15 % of the shares.
Since Bert Karlsson got closer to retirement, and also had been active as Managing Director so many years, he wanted to sell his part of the company. This was done in April 2008. After this a new Managing Director, Andreas Ohlsson, was employed in the company in June 2008. |
